Is my art feeling a bit...lazily done so far? I mean yeah I rarely do background and it's mostly just a white background, but do the pieces themselves feel like they're lacking something?

@GnarlyHaggler Its fine man,I think you just used some duller pencils or tried some new techniques.Dont get down for it.Ey now that you know you can improve even more, so its not all that bad.

They do feel a bit blurry.They lack that tone or colour gradient you get from using those wooden pencils.They don´t have that texture of your previous work i guess.Other than that i don´t see a difference from the brief glances i got.
